There are so many options! Houses and condos are available to rent on Fripp Island. Anywhere on the island will be 5-10 minutes from the wedding venue. Rentals are available through the Fripp Island Resort (with a discount code) and VRBO. We have a discount code for a hotel in Beaufort, which you can find on the travel tab above. There are also other hotels in Beaufort listed on the travel tab. These hotels are close to downtown, with local shopping, dining, and bars! These options are 30-45 minutes from the wedding venue. Airbnbs, bed and breakfasts, and boutique hotels are abundant. Harbor Island has rental options as well. Let us know if you have any questions - we are happy to help you decide. We would recommend securing securing a place to stay sooner rather than later due to Fripp, and the surrounding area, being a high-demand vacation destination.

We ask that you celebrate with us in semi-formal summer attire. For the ladies, think breezy midi or maxi dresses. For the gentlemen, think suits or long pants/sports coat combo. We love bold pops of color and fun patterns! Ultimately, we want our guests to be comfortable and festive for a Lowcountry wedding. We can't wait!

The average temperature at Fripp Island in June for a typical day ranges from a high of 88°F to a low of 73°F. Fingers crossed, it will be pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze! Please remember our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so keep this in mind as you make decisions on attire and footwear.

To enter Beaufort and Fripp, you can fly in through the Charleston International Airport or the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. We would recommend renting a car if you are planning to enjoy the Lowcountry's beauty and for ease of transportation.

There is a large parking lot where guests can park at the Ocean Creek Club House. You will see other cars and signage to guide you once you arrive. If you decide to party with us and have a few drinks, please Uber or carpool with someone who can drive safely and responsibly.
